The Two of Swords indicates that you are facing a challenging decision, but you are unclear about which option to take. Both possibilities may seem equally good – or equally bad – and you are stumped about which will lead you to the best outcome. You must be able to weigh up the pros and cons of each choice and then make a conscious judgment. Use both your head (your mind and the intellect) and your heart (your feelings and intuition) to choose the path that is most in alignment with your Higher Self.

In a reading, it may be helpful to draw a further two cards for either side of the Two of Swords to show what it is you are trying to decide upon or balance. You may also like to draw four more cards, for the pros and cons of each choice.

These cards never lie or put things nicely. Just straight to the point. This is a topic I've been avoiding but I do need to make a choice. Maybe I'll pull two cards as suggested to see which choice would be better.
I miss playing with my hermetic deck. I really need to do a full reading

So I pulled two cards to figure out how each path would go....

IMG-20200718-161042951

One is a path of ruin and a harsh ending...which would be the way towards my other path of joy and abundance.
If I choose the first path it will be ruin for me, I believe. The situation will never change for the better.
The second path will of course lead to a ruination of the relationship/family I'm in but I would be free to recreate my life the way I choose and finally find happiness.

I pulled Death first, probably the greatest signifier for change in any given tarot deck. I wanted more clarification and pulled another card: Six of Swords. It couldn't be more clear, since I am indeed in the midst of a "restart." It's been causing me a great deal of conflict in the area of communication with others, but I have mediated and all is a go(until something else is thrown in my way, but that is just a given part of change,[the universe has to make sure I'm ready to proceed, and conflict is the fastest way to go about it.,}
Anyway, on to the card meaning. I've just been using the booklet's meanings that came with my deck, since they're so spot on:

Through the snow, the crow makes a trip over choppy waters in pursuit of a better life. Along the way, he has lost a few feathers, but it is a sacrifice he made for a chance to rebuild and start over. This card denotes a time that will require you to cut your losses and begin anew. This decision will not come easy and there may be feelings of regret along the way. Hi however, once the journey is complete, you will be able to recognize that the result was worth the sacrifice. Focusing on the new opportunity instead of the loss will help ease the transition.

There is no loss associated to accomplish this reset, besides maybe the lss of the last part of me that cared what people think of me. I'll also be throwing out a certain amount of selflessness in regards of always putting others first.
This reset is about me creating the life that I want, first and foremost and unapologetically.

The Queen of Wands is a dominant creature sitting on her throne of lions. No one would accuse this bird of being demure. With a plan ready for success, the queen often appears as good, fearless and determined. The Queen appreciates the potential each journey offers and takes the opportunity to learn something new about herself with each challenge. The energy of Queen of Wands is healthy and agile as she moves through the world with a vibrant flare. With a taste for the best, this is one crow you won't find near the garbage cans as she uses her creative, quick-witted mind to determine the finer things in life.

This card reflects my reality as I have recently taken the time to go deep within myself and reflect on what I wish for in life. I have made goals to create and pursue what I envision what I want for myself and my family. I am ready to start again on my path to manifest my hopes and dreams and bring them into reality. This is a fresh start and I have the energy, motivations and willpower to make things happen; nothing will stop me. This card is a great sign that I am headed in the right direction.
